How it works
Approve the permissions and the app opens inside your Shopify admin. Nothing is added to your theme.
Name the discount, then add a quantity and a discount for each tier. Set a start date, and an end date if you want one.
When a cart reaches a tier, the discount is applied during checkout. The customer does not type anything.
An example
A discount holds as many tiers as you need. The cart is checked against all of them and the highest one it qualifies for is applied, so tiers never add up on top of each other.
With the tiers above and a tee shirt priced at $24.00, a customer who puts 5 in the cart reaches the 20 percent tier.
The customer types nothing. Shopify applies the discount during checkout.
What it does
Version 1 does tiered quantity discounts and nothing else. The features page lists exactly what is in it, and what is not.
Each discount holds a list of tiers. A tier is a quantity and a discount, for example 2 units at 10 percent off. Add several tiers to one discount and the highest one the cart qualifies for is the one that applies.
The app runs on Shopify Functions, which is Shopify's own discount engine. There is no script tag, no theme file to edit and nothing to undo later. Install it, create a discount, and it is live.
Because the discount is calculated by Shopify at checkout, the price your customer pays matches what they were shown. It works the same for carts built from any theme.
In the admin
Open the app and see what you have running, what is scheduled and what is paused. Edit a live discount, pause one without deleting it, or remove it for good.

Pricing
The Free plan runs one discount and does not expire. Paid plans are billed through Shopify, so the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice with no separate card to enter.

Yes. The app uses Shopify Functions, which is available on every Shopify plan, so a Basic store gets the same checkout behaviour as a Plus store.
No. Discounts created with this app are automatic. When the cart meets the quantity you set, the discount is applied at checkout without the customer typing anything.
The highest tier the cart qualifies for is the one that applies. If you set 2 units at 10 percent off and 5 units at 20 percent off, a cart with 6 units gets 20 percent off, not 30 percent.
Shopify decides what can combine, not the app. The discounts this app creates are automatic product discounts, and Shopify does not let two product discounts apply to the same item, so only one of them wins.
A product discount can combine with an order discount or a shipping discount. The app creates each discount with those two combinations allowed, and you can turn either of them off on the discount itself.
The discounts the app created stop applying, because the Shopify Function that calculates them is removed with the app. Your storefront and theme are untouched, since the app never added anything to them.
Your store data is deleted on the schedule described in the privacy policy, in line with Shopify's requirements for app developers.
